OUR BEST YEAR

This year, we have worked a lot, because First of Bachillerato is a difficult and tough year. 

We have studied many hours a day, in order to pass the year. Nowadays, we are studying a lot, because 9th of June we will begin the final exams and if we don’t pass the exams and we fail more than 2 subjects, we have to repeat the year. 

This year has been amazing, we have new friends. We have gone to party at Titus and Cocoa, too. 

The teachers are the best, in special Montse Bonilla, we love her. She help us worries about all the class. If we don’t pass a writing, she put an smile face to encourage. 

This year has been our best year on the school.

THEATRE COUPLES

In the second therm we went to the primary school to have a meeting with two actors. They taught us how to improve situations.

Then, we do an activity that consist in make questions about love and couples and we have to express our opinion.

Finally the actors show us a representation of a theatre play related to the couples. We made a circle and with a microphone we say one word to describe the activity. All of us enjoy a lot this evening and we stay happy after that.

EXCURSION TO BCN

  

On April, the students of First and Second Humanistic of bachillerato we went to Barcelona specifically the “Barri Gotic”. At 10.00 o’clock all the students had to be at the reception of the school, after we went to taken the subway, and went we arrived we had breakfast, but the weather was not very good,and we had to wait a littler longer, to stop raining.

When the raining stop, we walk to the “Barri Gotic”, we visited sites and we enter a place that talked about the Jewish and the history. 

After visited all the sites, we went to lunch at the university of philology in barcelona, we stayed there and we visited the university, the library was amazing!!

Then at 5.00 o’clock more or less we went to take the subway again, and back to badalona. We had class so we had to come at the school and do the class of tutory. Finally the excursion it was good to know all the history and we had a great time.

EXCURSION TO BCIN

The last month, we went to BCIN. BCIN is a Business and Convention Center in Badalona. 

On 7th of April, Thursday, we went to “XXX Jornades Científiques” on BCIN. 

In this event, the students of 2nd of Bach presented their Research Project. Some of the schools that participated were Pau Gargallo, La Llauna, our school… 

In this day, we learnt to explained and present a good Research Project and we could see others Research Project to want see how write a good Project. 

My Favourite Research Project was a audiovisual clip with more effects, the history of a girl and a monster, the student was the school of Pau Gargallo, a artistic high school. 

I would like to present my Research Project the next year in BCIN. 

EXCURSION TO EMPÚRIES

On 13th of April, Wednesday, the students of First and Second Humanistic of bachillerato we went to Empúries. All the students we were at 8.30h in Sant Josep in front the church, then we took the bus and went to Empuries, there was a journey of one hour and a half more or less.

When we arrived, we had breakfast and we enter to the ruins. We had a guide who explained all about the ruins and the students wrote down all the information that said the guide, because then would had to made a questionnaire of the excursion.

When the visited finished, we went to lunch, after lunch we took photos of us and we stayed there, next to the sea, and finally all went again to the coach.

Finally, we arrived to Badalona at 5 o’clock more or less. The excursion it was very interesting and we learned more about the ruins of Empúries.

EXCURSION TO THE SANT JOSEP’S CHURCH

One evening we go to visit Sant Josep’s church, a church of our city, Badalona, which is one of the most famous churches that we have here.


First, our guide, made us sit in the banks outside the church and he told us some curiosities about it. Then, he guided us to all the corners outside this church while he continues explaining us.


Later we climb a spiral staircase to go up in the viewpoint where are the bells, and we enjoy the views of our city and get a picture of all the class.


By last, the guide take us to the basement of the local to finish the explanation and the visit, and we see the chapel that represents the death, and the classrooms where some students go to make their homework, study for the school or take catequesi classes.



To say goodbye the guide gave us a card with a picture of God to remember this visit.

SAN JORDI AWARD

In our school we have the tradition of giving awards to the winners of the stories written on the day of San Jordi.


There are three different awards , from first to third. The first award is the one who takes more money than all three.


-1st: 110€

-2nd: 80€

-3th: 50€


You could write in Catalan and Spanish or both. Our class have won two persons:

-Judith Arnau who has won the first award of Spanish redaction

-Àlex García who has won the third award of Catalan redaction.


Laia has participated in the competition but has not won any awards.


The awards were given into the primary school where we were went .

SANT JORDI'S DAY

The last 22th of April, the classes of First and Second of Bachillerato went to “Badalonense”. This place is a small theatre in the centre of Badalona where the students of Humanistic sang and recited poems. 

The poems were about love and some poets were Pablo Neruda, Shakespeare, etc… The poets more importants of the world.
After, each class went with two teachers to walk on the most important streets of Badalona. Each students prepared one street or building and explained the feauture important about that place. 

I, Laura, and my partner, Ainhoa explained the Costa and Augusta Streets.

The excursion was more interesting and we learnt more about the important places of Badalona, our city.

EXCURSION TO THE THEATRE

Last month we go to Barcelona to ‘Victoria Theatre’ to watch a theatre show about the Succession War of Catalonia. It was a departure of the subject of catalan, because it was literature.

The activity was very interesting because we can’t imagine that a show like that, can make us feel interest and excitement during the time watching it. The show lasted two hours, with a break in the middle, and we only spend the morning doing this activity.

EXCURSION LA FAGEDA

We have an excursion to La Fageda, a company that make yogurts with milk from their cows.

In the company, they have pregnant cows and other cows that have milk, also they have cows since they born until they have eight months more or less.
We saw the company and how they have their yogurts.
When we visit the company, before eating. We walked to La Fageda d’en Jordà, the place is incredible, but we walked about two hours. We didn’t know that we had to walk.

Finally, we stopped and ate. After, we took the bus and return to Badalona.
The visit was more funny, but more tired too.

MONTSERRAT

This year, in first of october, the teachers organized an excursion in Montserrat Monastery, with the objective of learn more about our new companions of the year.

This is because there are about a half of the class new. In this excursion, we stay in all day, first we’ve been walking about an hour for the mountain, and then we arrived at the Monastery and we visited it and seen children sing.

Then we go to have lunch in camping tables, with a lot of wind too, till the time to go home. The bus come to pick us and we come back to Badalona.

This experience was funny and productive, because we enjoy all together about this exciting place and the nature, and we met each other better.

We would like to go again and enjoy this place, because is an important place of our country and is so beautiful.

CARNIVAL IN BADALONÉS!

The last Friday 5th of February, we celebrated the Carnival in our school with the other classes to High School, 4th of ESO and Training Courses. 

First, we thought dress up equal, but the likes are different in each person.  When, we decided dress up to different costumes. 

The girls and the customes that have this blog are: 

• Ainhoa and Laura are drees up about Alice in Wonderland.
• Laia is dress up about Alien.
• Berta is dress up about a cat. 

In the photos, you will see more girls. They are our friends and their costumes are different. The costumes about Hawaiian girls, kawai students...

Finally, the Carnival was a big party on the high school. Was incredible! I want repeat this the next year! 

THE CHRISTMAS TRADITION OF BADALONÈS

Our school have more traditions. One of the traditions is sing the last day of school before the christmas holidays.

All students of Badalonès went to Pavelló de Sant Josep. We, students of High School, went with the children to Preschool, because the teachers asked us to help them.

There we sing more christmas songs. Our favorites songs were "Merry Christmas" and "Boig per tu". 

This experience was beautiful and exciting because all the students felt the spirit of Christmas.

THE PENULTIMATE DAY OF FIRST THEM

In the penultimate day of the first them, all the students of ESO and Batchillerato went to watch a film at the cinema and after that, we play football and basketball matches.

The film that we see is chosen by the students, and we also make the groups for playing the matches.

This year we saw the film ‘Bridge of Spies’, and was about the Cold War, that film talk about historical topics and was a bit long, in some parts it became heavy.
